Branding Guide

Objective

During my last semester at University of Baltimore, I completed a capstone project in which I collaborated with a student-run team to create a process and style guide book for a start-up business from the university’s Center For Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The overall goal was to provide collateral the client could use to market their company to potential prospects they could collaborate and make business deals with.

Our client, G-Haven created pop up gaming events for gamers in the Gen Z and Millennial age demographic to participate in both competitive and casual play.

Process

I contributed to the following to complete the final product:

  • Researched the client’s industry, competitors, and target audience to gain the relevant information and understanding to create the necessary assets, as well as interviewing the client to establish an appropriate narrative and style for the guide.

  • Collaborated with my team to implement content strategies in the client’s guide including tips to enhance their social media presence and suggested event branding.

  • Proofread and edited copy written by my team and drafted copy myself for the final guide. Collected research, copy, images, and new logo and additional branding materials and mockups which I contribute to designing to create the final layout of the printed guide for the client’s business purposes.
