The Couple that Travels Together

Objective

The Couple that Travels Together is an infographic poster directing facts based on the places my husband and I have traveled to. This project was created for the Informational Design class for the Integrated Design MA program at University of Baltimore. The goal was to educate the viewer about a personal interest or hobby and present facts or statistics related to the hobby.

It was important to add a map as a visual element to pin each area we’ve visited. The idea behind this is similar to a pushpin map to mark off each place with the idea to include more places on the map in the future. I also separate the information based on the cities vs. beaches visited, our top 10 beaches, favorite landmarks, and favorite places we’ve visited. The intended purpose for the infographic can be paired with an article about travels with a partner for an internet publication like refinery29 or Buzzfeed and could also be used as a print out poster.
